Oddd Boots Terms and Conditions
Credit notes are not exchangeable for refunds
Credit notes are valid for 2 months from the date
of receipt
No discounts or special offers apply on any second
hand items
When placing a special order that is not in stock:
Orders are made upon receipt of deposit/sale
Once the order has been made it cannot be cancelled
by the customer, unless our supplier is permitting
All deposits are non refundable unless we cannot
supply the item you want
If you leave a deposit and do not complete the
order the deposit becomes invalid after 6 weeks
If you return a specially ordered item & you have paid in full for the item/s you will
be refunded the difference between the deposit
and total sale amount.
Please be certain of item and size when leaving
your deposit- especially when ordering for someone
else
Items are exchangeable if the incorrect item has
been delivered to you by mistake of Oddd Boots
or our suppliers
Once an item is exchanged you cannot exchange
it a second time-unless it is faulty
Deposit amounts vary depending on item ordered
Please understand we order our products from a
supplier, waiting times often depend on the supplier
We are not a manufacturer; therefore we do not
make the products ourselves
Discounts or deductions from footwear are taken
when the final payment is made
If due to suppliers ordering times are altered
from our agreed period with the customer, we will
then notify the customer and come to an arrangement
in adherence with our terms & conditions.
Damaged or defective goods. If on delivery, goods
are found to be defective then we must be notified
in writing by either: E-mail or a letter sent
by recorded delivery only. Please do not phone
to inform us of defective goods. All products
must be returned within ten days of the date
we recieve payment from you otherwise no liability will be
accepted. Any item showing signs
of wear will not be accepted back. The customer
may not attempt to make use of or alter any item,
perfect or defect without the prior consent of
both partners of Oddd Boots. The risk of doing
so lies with the customer. Please note this can
void any guarantee held on an item.
We reserve the right to replace goods
with a suitable alternative should such goods
become unavailable/discontinued.
If
you wish to send a payment in the post then we
only accept GBP Sterling currency. We accept no
liability if we do not receive your payment due to
the post. We therefore advise you to send all cash
or postal order payments by Signed For Recorded
Delivery. That way we will sign for the item and
you can obtain proof from Royal Mail that it’s
been delivered.
Customers have ten days to cancel orders of
goods.
The ten days starts from the date we recieve payment from you. It is advised for the customer to
tell us when they receive their goods, on the
day that they receive them. All cost of returns
is to be met by the customer, unless the item is
faulty. If
a refund is required then we will happily refund
you the cost of the item, although we cannot
refund the postage costs. This is only because we
use your postage fee to cover our own costs of
sending you the item. The fee is still payable to
send the item regardless of any refund issued
after the date of the postage. If
you wish to exchange your item, then you will need
to cover the costs of returning the item to us and
the costs for us to send you a different item.
Please notify us
upon the return of any item by either: E-mail
or a letter sent by recorded delivery only. Please
do not phone to inform us of a return.
Postage costs. Costs are standard sellers rates
within the UK
We
do not deliver the items with a company courier
all items are sent by Royal Mail. If you pay for
recorded delivery then we can track your item
until you receive it. If you require the tracking
number then please ask. Any items where the
standard seller’s rate of postage was paid will
not be sent by recorded delivery (unless the costs
paid cover this service) and will otherwise not be
tracked.
Any
items undelivered/lost in the post will be
refunded after 30 days of the parcel being sent.
This is so we have sufficient time to receive
confirmation from Royal Mail and/or the return of
our parcel.
In
the event of a parcel being lost and then later
returned to us, we will then cover the postage
costs to re-send your item. Delivery times can
vary. If you request and pay for next day delivery
then we will post your item by that means. We are
not responsible for delivery times. This is the
responsibility of the courier/mailing service.
Carriage UK Postage costs are designated before
order is sent. If the customer is unhappy with
this arrangement s/he agrees to arrange additional
courier service to which all risk lies with the
customer.
Carriage-Outside UK Rates will depend on the
country. Postage costs are designated before order
is sent. If the customer is unhappy with this
arrangement s/he agrees to arrange additional
courier service to which all risk lies with the
customer. Please be aware that your countries
customs may impose an import duty, which is to
be payable by you, the customer.
Covering Law These terms and conditions and every
contract made pursuant hereto and all disputes
arising in any way out of or affecting these Terms
& Conditions and every contract aforesaid
shall be governed in all aspects by, and in accordance
with, current English Law and you accept the non-exclusive
jurisdiction of the English courts. These terms shall remain in force until altered
in writing and signed by both parties. All agreements or arrangements between customers
and Oddd Boots are to be made with the consent
of both partners of Oddd Boots.
